Kazi Dris & Dan Osi

Now we know for the past months the world has been in a frenzy due to Covid-19 and we all have experienced the wrath of Quarantine.
We asked the guys how their quarantine experience has been going.

" In a couple of days we're going back into lock down, we were doing okay at one point but then the numbers started to go up again and now we're back on national lock down." - Kaz & Dan

Through the pandemic it's been a challenge for many entertainers and social Influencers to keep afloat while events, concerts, shows has been pushed back or cancelled. Although these pair are most known for keeping indoors with their reactions we had to ask has it affected their craft and creating content.

"Yes & No, It has a slight affect because when we were stated that it was calm before lock down things were closing at 10' o clock there was a curfew set in place. If we're both busy in the day It's not easy to do everything before 10' o clock. But we make the most of it. It has it's perks"-Kaz & Dan

Youtube has been such a successful content and social platform for many individuals within the past few years, There are numerous amount of content creators who have built their platforms and social following based on the material they have created and put out. We asked the duo to take us down memory lane from the first time they teamed up with each other, from the start of their channel and their first video.

"We started around 3 years ago, we must have seen a video or something and thought about it, like bro we can do this. So from there we just tried it out. We wasn't expecting to be as big as we are now. We just tested it out and the next thing you know, Here we are.

It's much more deeper than Youtube, we've been friends for over 10 years. We're brothers now ,That's family.

Our first video might have been a Headie One reaction/breakdown video breaking down the lyrics. I think it was October of 2017."-Kaz & Dan

Youtube gives creators the ability to reach masses of people from different cultures, creeds and backgrounds with videos reaching over thousands and millions. We asked the duo what was their most viewed, trendy, and/or viral video.

"Recently, we had our first video that has reached 1 millions views which was an Australian music reaction. But there's been quite a few that's hit different trending pages. We've hit trending pages in Australia like 4 or 5 times and in The U.K a few times as well."- Kaz & Dan

Most reactors are known for reacting to music, silly videos, sports, choreography, challenges. etc the list goes on. As Kaz & Dan are most known for  reacting to music specifically mainstream and upcoming artists, We wanted to know if they've had requests from any upcoming/independent artists to react to their music.

"Definitely, we get a wide range of artists that reach out. Sometimes we get artists for our Intro; We actually have an intro artist now and his name is Rushy" - Kaz & Dan

We discussed the differences between the drill music scene and cultural Influence it has in the U.K & U.S. Drill has seem to take over the music game.
As we know the late Pop smoke was not only the face of NY drill but he also created a movement of drill in which became a sound people began gravitating toward, vibing and dancing to. However, Many may not know that The U.K has been carrying the drill sound long before then. We asked the duo their opinions on the differences between the U.K & U.S drill movements.

"There definitely is a difference. Americans you guys got a vibe that you can dance to that sh*t. U.K seems to be more of lyrics, words, talking about other people, punch lines etc. It's more deeper to rap in the U.K whereas in the U.S is more of a vibe to it. As of recent, there's been a big change in the U.K where we're seeing drill artists actually chart. Back in the days that would of never happened, even though It'll pop in the ends It was more mandem type of things but now drill artists are charting on a regular basis."-Kaz & Dan

With many artists sprouting out of the U.K we asked the pair who was their favorite artist coming out of the ends and who's the next talent we should look out for on our ends...

"That is such a hard answer, I would say a quick top 3 for us would be M Huncho, DBE, & We can put Dutchavelli in there as well."

"Central Cee is one artist you guys should look out for. He use to do music back in the day but since he's made a return he's dropped 3 tracks. Out of those 3 tracks of 3 they have all been bangers. - Kaz & Dan

As we wrap up with Kaz & Dan we asked the duo what's next for them, Any upcoming projects or content we should look forward to which they dropped an exclusive for BoominLive.

"We just started our second channel that will consist of more videos/content such as vlogging etc. and a possible podcast in the works.
We're working at the moment. Things are going good. All glory to God"-Kaz & Dan
